Special thanks to Matt H. for organizing a night of music for the residents at Brandywine!
I have received many last minute requests for extensions. As a potential member of National Honor Society you are expected to follow all instructions in the application. Members of the National Honor Society are expected to be organized, responsible, and able to adhere to deadlines. Applications were shared with eligible students at the end of June in order to avoid a last minute rush for signatures and character verification forms. All forms must be received by 2:20pm on September 16th or the application will be considered incomplete.
Please be advised that there is NO faculty character verification form. There seems to be some confusion around this issue. As specified in the NHS application all eligible students received at the end of June, you must submit Part G of the application to a mentor or supervisor for completion. That adult must fill out the form and mail it to HTHS (attn: Mrs. Gross, NHS). I received the email below and was asked to pass it on to NHS members:

During the school year they have after school and/or Saturday shifts open. Please call the store manager at (732)741-1164 for more information. You can also email them at womansexchange@aol.com The Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Festival in Holmdel recently contacted the NHS as they are in need of volunteers for their annual festival. The information below is from their website: We need YOU! Each year, many members of our community give of their time and resources in making our annual Festival a success. We are GRATEFUL for their dedication prior to, during, and after the Festival. We encourage all that can to give of their time - even if it's just for an hour or two!
